Shooting fireworks is one of the things I really enjoy, and New Year’s Eve was no exception. This year finds me in the beautiful city of Toronto. Weather was good and temperature was only 4 degrees Celsius (39 degrees Fahrenheit) – I know that for most people that sounds cold but for Canada is a good Winter temperature! I had to stand up for 3 hours to keep my spot from the crowd pushing me to get a better view. All this was worth it! What an experience! With very particular Fire Escape Stairs, this theater was completed in 1894. It’s located in Toronto Canada. Trying to get a good photo of this building for some days now… This is from the Fisheye lens and distortion corrected in Lightroom.

Living in Canada during winter means getting in touch with the cold. Thanks to Wim Hof (The Iceman) method and training I was able to endure more. I’m now grateful that I am in a cold place! In fact our bodies can handle a lot more than we think. That doesn’t reduce the fact that Canadian Winter is tough. In this photo my muse is waiting for the bus, from this post I would like to say big Kudos to all the Canadian bus drivers! Winter road conditions are NOT easy… Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

As a good housekeeper would do, making sure it’s clear to walk (or drive).

People watching Friday’s fireworks on the Niagara Falls Canadian side. Due to the fog visibility was a bit low, so I processed the photo in layers in Photoshop.

This illuminated traditional tranportation was passing by. I barely had time to take a photo as it appeared suddenly in the fog, but I’m always ready for street photos (and it’s worth it). Niagara Falls, Canada.

One side is the observation deck – the other side is Goat Island. In the middle it’s the pure force of the water falling.
